Southern Virginia American Legion Riders

Hello Riders,

First let me start off with saying "Thank You" to everyone who made it
to the meeting last night.  We covered a lot of information and actually
elected our officers for 2010.  If you have not signed up for the
Christmas Party, please do so ASAP so you can see them installed because the take
charge on 1 Jan! If you are going to the Christmas Party, make sure to
bring the $15.oo to the next meeting.

Please congratulate them the next time you see them. I know that all of
you will give them as much support has you have given myself and your
current officers.  It was a great year and it only keeps getting better!!!

Don't forget about our Brunswick Stew fundraiser. Please sell, sell,
sell as much as you can!  At $6.00 a QT, it is a deal!  I hope to see you all
at the party on the 21st! You do need to send your count to myself, Herbie or
Penny by the 18th so they will know how much to make.

November 11th is Veterans Day and we have the American Legion Ceremony
at the Colonial Heights War Memorial at 11 AM.  We will be meeting at the
Clubhouse at 10 AM and KSU at 10:30.  I hope you all can make it.

November 14 is our Post Clean up and Commanders Breakfast so come out,
eat some great food and help up clean up our post!!!!

All the fun starts at 7 AM!!!!!   If you are late and don't want to
eat, you can just show up around 8:30 and I am sure we can find something for
you to do.

As a friendly reminder, your 2010 dues are due!!!! and in order to be a
member of the Legion Riders for 2010 I must see your 2010 American
Legion, Sons of the American Legion or Auxiliary membership card. If you do not
pay your dues by December 31st, your name will be removed from our roster
and your email will be deleted also and that means you will not be getting
anymore of my great emails!!!

If I can be of any assistance to any of you, just let me know.
